This week, construction began on the future State Public Library in Barcelona, a strategic project that will strengthen the city’s cultural and educational infrastructure.

During the initial clearing work, remains of Barcelona’s ancient city walls were unearthed, a discovery of great heritage value that highlights the rich history of the city’s subsoil.
