Construction works have been completed on the new-build residential development located at Avenida 302, number 47, 08860 Castelldefels (Barcelona), comprising a detached multi-family building with 5 dwellings. The property includes a basement level with 5 parking spaces and storage rooms, as well as a ground floor and two upper floors dedicated to residential units.
The structure has been executed with reinforced concrete columns and slabs, left exposed in the main living areas of each dwelling. Ventilated façades feature modular prefabricated polymer concrete panels to enhance thermal performance and reduce thermal bridging. Flat roofs with light-coloured finishes help reflect solar radiation.
The project has achieved the Green Certificate (GBCe) through the use of FSC or PEFC certified timber, lime mortars, locally sourced materials, low-consumption sanitary fittings, individual aerothermal systems and solar panels, eco-friendly paints and varnishes, permeable exterior paving and perimeter fencing with native vegetation, among other sustainable strategies.
